Classroom Observations and Comparisons

For the last month, our EIP class has been touring different classrooms. We observed all aspects of the classroom and its occupants, including:

• The role of the teacher
• Classroom management techniques
• Learner characteristics 
• Assessment techniques
• Evidence of student learning

We visited a variety of classrooms, ranging from preschool to high school level: 

• Different grade level classroom 
• High school classroom 
• PEAK classroom 
• Epic classroom 
• Early Childhood Center classroom
• Montessori classroom 
• Pathway Academy charter school 

Even after spending only thirty minutes in each classroom setting, we were quickly able to assess differences. Here is a link to the observations I made during class, and my analysis between the different classrooms.
